Multidisciplinary designer / developer

I'm a designer/frontend developer with a formal education in design from UCLA and strong foundations in both visual design and frontend development. I'm highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of self-managing or managing small teams to achieve product goals with great success. I work well with engineering, product, and research counterparts - speak their languages, and this has led to wonderful collaboration and smooth launches.

I have expert level skills with Figma, semantic token based design systems, the latest HTML/CSS standards, bootstrap, JS/react/angular. Has led and evolved large enterprise figma libraries to be highly efficient in design discovery, exploration, and handoff phases. I'm capable of delivering high quality, well researched design handoffs, with static HTML/CSS connected to a design system's CSS framework, for engineering to them integrate into the codebase. In short, I save a lot of time and effort in the product cycle leading to remarkable results that are on schedule.

Specifically with design systems, I'm capable of auditing an existing product suite/system, creating a compliant, scalable style framework, and building component libraries for multiple platforms - in Figma for the designers and in code for the developers.
